Our team conducted an independent review of the process undertaken by Camden CCG to establish their diabetes contract, making recommendations on how the process might be adapted and improved for future initiatives to make it more efficient and effective.
We provided expert support in the following areas:
- Designing the telephone interviews to combine elements of both quantitative and qualitative data collection, eliminating the need to undertake both separately
- Conducting interviews with key stakeholders and issuing the survey for clinical input
- Analysing the interview and survey results and drawing out key themes on what went well and what could be done better next time
- Presenting the final report, with recommendations for potential improvements that could be made to engagement and governance in the process.
Building on from our report, Camden plan to pilot an integrated frail elderly service and have asked our team to run, design and deliver their outcomes development workshop for the value-based commissioning of this service.
