An online system which helps people in Camden receive better care has won a prestigious award – with a little help from NEL.
The Care Integrated Digital Records (CIDR) team at Camden CCG, who have been supported by NEL bespoke communications for several years, are celebrating after CIDR was named Tech Project of the Year at the Health Technology Newspaper Awards. In addition, it has been shortlisted for a Health Service Journal award.
We have worked with the CIDR team for the last 12 months, helped write their award submissions, supported them in putting together their presentation to judges and coached them on how best to deliver it.
Programme Manager Julian Young, who leads the project, said: “This is fantastic recognition for the team’s hard work over many years and confirms that CIDR is at the forefront of this technology as well as delivering health benefits to patients.”
CIDR enables patients to share their information with all the health and care professionals looking after them. The awards judges were especially looking for entries that delivered significant savings and benefits.
More than 2,100 health and care professionals in Camden and Barnet now view CIDR records more than 10,000 times every month.
