I joined NEL in 2014 after working with the Royal College of Psychiatrists and previously line managing in an NHS Mental Health Trust.
Within NEL Healthcare Consulting we use our extensive experience of working with the health and social care sectors to deliver strategic advice, project management, communications and innovative solutions to our customers. Along with other consultants, I manage a portfolio of projects, including research, bid writing, legal drafting, and evaluation for customers including Tower Hamlets and Lambeth CCGs, and NHS England. I enjoy the variety and flexibility of working on a number of different projects.
I hold a postgraduate teaching qualification which has lead me to be closely involved in the training and development at the CSU. I currently support the Management Development Academy, Consultancy Academy and Writing Academy. Providing skills and professional development to CSU staff is a key part of what we do as an organisation and it’s something we’ll be building on in the future.
I am also a qualified Barrister, and hold a degree in psychology. Combining these interests in my PhD, which is in legal psychology, I have a successful record of publication in peer-reviewed journals in a wide range of healthcare sectors and am a peer reviewer for the National Institute of Health Research and for several other influential academic journals.
In my spare time I brew ale!
